Founding cohort · Forming now

A small group for engineers with ADHD.

You're good at the work. The hard part is the gap between what you can do and what actually gets done. This is a standing room of engineers who run on the same wiring, where you think it out loud together instead of pushing through it alone.

The part that wears you down

You can go deep for hours when something grabs you, and stall completely when it doesn't.

You start strong and lose the thread. The systems that work for everyone else slide off you in a week. And the part that actually wears you down isn't the focus. It's the gap: knowing exactly what you're capable of, watching it not happen, and carrying that quietly, alone.

Everyone around you seems to just do the thing. So you mask it, try harder in private, and it doesn't stick.

What this is

A small, closed group of engineers with ADHD who meet to think out loud together.

Not a productivity system. Not a focus hack. A room of people who get it, where you bring the thing you're stuck on, get real questions back, and leave with one move you'll actually make.

Why it helps

Peers who actually get it

No explaining why "just make a list" doesn't work. Everyone in the room runs on the same wiring.

Thinking out loud beats grinding alone

Your clarity tends to show up in conversation, not in another solo system. The group is the externalizing.

Shared momentum

Working alongside people who get it is the real body-double effect. Progress stops being something you do alone and becomes shared — you move because you're in it together, not because anyone's keeping score.

How a session runs

Sixty minutes, facilitated, the same shape each time:

  • 1

Quick round.Everyone checks in: what moved, what's stuck.

  • 2

Hot seat. One or two bring something live; the group works it with real questions, not drive-by advice.

  • 3

One move each.Everyone leaves with a single next step, and the group picks it up next time.

The 4-week pilot — Tuesdays, 1:00 pm ET / 10:00 am PT (60 min)
  • Session 1Tue Jul 14
  • Session 2Tue Jul 21
  • Session 3Tue Jul 28
  • Session 4Tue Aug 4
Who it's for

Senior engineers and engineering leaders with ADHD, diagnosed or pretty sure, who are good at the work and tired of fighting their own wiring alone.

Open to thinking out loud and being a little seen. Not for anyone after a silver-bullet productivity hack, or who'd rather not be in a room of peers.

4–6 seats. The founding cohort forms now.

Fill out the form below, send me an email at contact@theadhdengineer.com, or just reply wherever we first spoke. Whichever's easiest.

To hold your seat, I'll send a Stripe invoice for a $50 deposit after you reserve, which comes off the $400 total. Once four of us are in, the cohort is locked in and I'll invoice the rest. If it doesn't fill, your deposit is refunded.
