Have you noticed this about stuck work?

The problem isn’t your “system.” On what stuck actually is when you look at it from the inside.

When the work isn’t moving, the first explanation almost everyone reaches for is the same: my system isn’t good enough. I need a better planner. A better task manager. A better calendar block. A better Notion setup.

That’s rarely what stuck is actually about. Stuck is a state that happens INSIDE you while you’re looking at the work — not a defect of the tools sitting next to the work. A new tool doesn’t change the state. It just moves the same state to a slightly different room.

What does change the state: noticing the state. Stopping for thirty seconds to ask what is this? Then choosing your next move based on what you actually find, not what the productivity guide suggested.
